Derrick Loy

Rehab & Movement Coach

Derrick is a movement-focused coach and Active Life Professional with a passion for helping people reclaim the activities they love. A former athlete and active father of two, he understands firsthand the frustration of being held back by pain, recurring injuries, or a lack of confidence in movement. After struggling with his own setbacks while trying to return to fitness, Derrick discovered just how many people were silently stuck—unsure of how to bridge the gap between everyday function and full, active living.

Motivated by this insight, Derrick pursued education through the Active Life Professional certification program—one of the most comprehensive systems for bridging the gap between rehab and performance. With a focus on long-term solutions rather than quick fixes, he helps busy, active individuals overcome physical limitations through in-depth assessments, individualized programming, and a strong emphasis on education and client ownership.

  • Precision Nutrition Level 1

Whether it’s returning to sport, chasing after kids, or simply moving without pain, Derrick works collaboratively with each client to rebuild strength, confidence, and the capacity to thrive—both in the fitness, activities and and in life.
